There is indeed a cure for the Summertime Blues, it’s called getting outta the house for some fresh air and adventure! And if you live in San Jose you’re in luck because we’ re perfectly situated within an hour from several cool destinations making day trips hella easy. With family, friends, or rollin’ solo, these cities have many cool places to eat, relax, shop and more. And while San Jose has everything these places have to offer (with the exception of beaches, an aquarium, and a couple of very large bridges) it’s pretty cool that we can venture out and explore other iconic destinations within a day. So pack water and snacks, check Google Maps, gas up, and escape San Jose for a summer day.
